The books and guitars sometimes came with software on CD or DVD. Sometimes
it only contained audio files for playing along and/or repeating. Depending on the manufacturer
and instrument, it also included software for audio editing. Sometimes
the respective data storage device was also supplemented with help
for beginners such as how to tune the guitar, how to care for it, etc.
